We had a great seminar at Streetsville United Church, speaking to members of the church, UCW, and the wider community. As well as sharing the details of my book, we discussed the important role of the community (both the church and the neighbourhood) in supporting care-givers as they support their loved-ones living with dementia. There were lots of questions and discussion following my presentation of the book. "It takes a village," is applicable in so many ways. Thank you, Streetsville United for the warm welcome!
